      • DOG WALKERS,

The MOST OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOUR that you can do is to walk your dog off-leash in ON-LEASH AREAS.

        .

        Off-leash dogs

        (uh-huh.......yours)

        CAUSE DYSFUNCTION

to members of the community trying to MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS.

        broken image

        Off-leash dogs

        (uh-huh......yours)

        CAUSE DISTRESS

to Dogs that are In Need Of Space.

You don't know what is going on for other people.

You don't know what is going on for their dog.

If someone asks you to put your dog on a leash,

        Don't act dumb.

        Don't be aggressive / belligerent.

        Don't try and gaslight.

        YOU'RE IN THE WRONG.

        Just do it.

        broken image

WHITES CREEK is a RESIDENTIAL AREA.

        broken image

        ALL RESIDENTIAL AREAS ARE ON-LEASH.

Many people who live along the pathway have disabilities.

It is completely unacceptable that anyone who just wants to be left alone

should be forced to worry about what your dog is about to do next.

Many people have dogs WHO NEED TO BE LEFT ALONE

        broken image

Many dogs DO NOT WANT INTERACTION with other dogs.

        .

        FACT:

Off-leash dogs cause Human Distress and Animal Cruelty.

        broken image

Dog Walkers have a responsibility to respect that residents with

        Cultural Beliefs,

        Medical Challenges,

        Special Needs Dogs,

        Personal Preferences,

Do Not Appreciate The Distress That Is Caused By Off-Leash Dogs

Visitors enjoy coming here BECAUSE IT IS ON-LEASH.

This is a BUSH REGENERATION AREA.

We have Tame Wildlife that do not deserve to be terrified and savaged.

Neighbours walking on-leash cats and pet ferrets do not deserve to be terrified and savaged.

Bush regeneration area on your left.

People accessing to and from their homes on your right.

        The pathway is narrow.

Residents, Joggers and Cyclists do not deserve to be harassed by un-leashed dogs.

And the dog shit that you people don't bother picking up is appalling.

This issue is offensive to Everybody.

Dog faeces spreads bacteria, parasites and illness to other people's dogs.

The epitome of disrespect is walking your dog without a leash at Whites Creek.

        broken image

Yet for the narrow 150 metres along the residential portion,

        (not even 2 minutes walking)

there are still rude and over-entitled individuals with appalling boundaries.

These individuals are deluded enough to claim that "there is no problem".

If you kindly point out that this is an on-leash area they outright LIE to you by saying that, "they didn't know".

If you ask them to put their dog on a leash, they are quick to project HATE and venom by SPIT-FIRING the F BOMB at you.

Their "defence phrase" is always that their dog is "just being friendly".

        CORRECT TRANSLATION:

These people are too lazy to LEARN how to train their dog to walk without it straining and pulling ahead of them.

Their dogs transfer rushing and unpredictable behaviours learnt at off-leash dog parks into on-leash areas.

THEIR DOG WON'T COME WHEN ITS CALLED.

When approaching others just trying to mind their own business, OFF-LEASH DOGS ARE A MAJOR NUISANCE.

        .
By DISRESPECTING other members of the community in ON-Leash Areas,

YOU HURT PEOPLE AND YOU HURT OUR DOG.

Cohen Park is across the creek.

The wide grassed area behind the units is 2 minutes away.

        Seriously.

Please take your "friendly dog" to those designated areas.

        IN ANY PUBLIC PLACE,

        broken image

Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person

over the age of 16, by means of on a leash.

This is not just council regulation.

        It is NSW State Law.

Dog Owners must have VOICE and SIGHT control of their dog at all times.

The Companion Animals Act Section 16:

It is an offence for a dog to rush at, attack, bite, harass or chase any person or animal

(other than vermin), regardless of whether injury is caused.

        I DO NOT CONSENT

To the suffering that off-leash dogs cause.

It is my Human Right to maintain mine, and my dog's safety.

        Teaching

Your dog to focus on You and to walk beside You

calmly at heel is the most rewarding gift that you can give each other.

        broken image

When your dog can walk with good manners calmly on a leash,

and be respectful of other people's personal space boundaries,

        everyone in the community wins,

        especially, everybody's dog.

        broken image

Respect the culture at Whites Creek.

        RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE'S BOUNDARIES:
